Hawick RFC have very kindly been donated a signed ball from the 1960 game between the South of Scotland
and South Africa. This was presented by the Peter Ormiston on behalf of the Ormiston family. It was Peter’s grandfather who collected the signatures after the game at Mansfield Park.
Hawick RFC are grateful and delighted to receive this fine momento.
The ball is on display in the McLaren Room at the club with the following inscription.

Mansfield Park 19th Nov 1960
