HRFC ANNOUNCEMENT.Hawick RFC are delighted to confirm the appointment of Gary Muir as Director of Rugby for their 150th anniversary season 20223/24.
A true Hawick man, Gary has been with the club for 10 years, covering various roles in that time, culminating with his vital role managing the 1st XV squad during our double winning season. Gary, who’s brother Shawn has represented the Greens on more than 200 occasions, also had the honour of being appointed team manager for the South of Scotland this season, as the District Championship was reinstated.
Hawick RFC would like to take this opportunity to thank Gary’s predecessor as DoR John Hogg for the power of work he did over the season, not only at Mansfield Park, but throughout the wider community forging closer links with all the towns clubs.
