Hawick RFC has a tradition of nurturing and developing young talent. The revival of Hawick Force, our second team, has allowed more young players to become involved in senior rugby and gain valuable experience.
The Centurion Club was created in 2012 to help support our player development programme. Members and friends of Hawick RFC were asked to donate £500 each towards the fund which enabled us to invest in the town’s young rugby talent. The Centurion Club paid for quality coaching at grassroots level.
As we look to the future, we need to continue this investment and commit to developing young players in Hawick.
We are asking you, as friends and members of the club, to consider making a donation to the Hawick RFC Centurion Development Club Fund. All funds donated will be used exclusively in the development of young players who aspire to wear the green jersey at Mansfield Park.
To become a member of the Hawick RFC Centurion Development Club, we would ask for a one-off donation of £500 or we welcome staggered payments of £100 per annum over the next five years, beginning this autumn.
The Centurion Development Fund will be used exclusively to benefit the town’s young players and their rugby development.
Membership of the Centurion Development Club brings additional benefits – we will host an annual lunch to thank you for your contribution and provide regular updates of how the Fund is being invested in developing young players. There is also a small joining gift in recognition of your generous donation.
