RIP Ken Macaulay

Everyone connected with Hawick RFC were deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Ken Macaulay yesterday. Ken visited Mansfield Park three weeks ago at the start of his marathon charity cycle ride, and was greeted by Sal Campbell and John Thorburn while being joined on his ride by John Hogg and Selkirk’s Gordon Hunter. Ken completed his challenge finishing up at his beloved Netherdale on Saturday, raising a huge sum of money for his chosen charities.
We send our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Ken’s family and friends. The Scottish rugby family have lost a true gentleman. RIP Ken. 🏉
