Hawick RFC would like to thank all those, both connected with the club, and out with it, for their incredible efforts on Saturday in helping our games and our Farmers Day hospitality go ahead. Special thanks to our committee particularly Greg McLeod, our volunteers and everyone who helped us get some power to the club. To Eileen, Debbie, Lindsey and all their helpers for finding a way to feed and water everyone by candlelight. To all those who attended the hospitality lunch which became an evening meal thanks for coming. To our very own Jill Douglas for taking time out of her extremely busy schedule for her excellent contribution, to Kenny Spiers for his entertainment and to Henry Douglas our newest and extremely worthy Life Member. Congratulations from us all Henry!
The rugby boys produced the goods with two bonus point wins. Best wishes to Jae Linton who sustained a serious injury. Gratitude also to Hawick Youth and most especially to John Collinson who made available the Volunteer Park 3G pitch for our GHA game. It was greatly appreciated.
