Having defeated Edinburgh Accies at Raeburn Place on Saturday despite going down to fourteen men in the first half Hawick march on in their quest for a League and Cup double. We were to play National League Division One side GHK at Mansfield for a quarter-final tie but they very disappointingly have “pulled out of the cup” This means we get a bye to the semi-final on 15 April 2023. Opponents and venue still to be decided. This is so frustrating for the players, coaches and committee and a monetary loss to the Club.
The Force are playing Kelso on Friday 31 March at Poynder Park in the final of the Border Reserve League Cup, kick off 7.30 pm.
We wish Lana Skeldon well for Saturday’s Women’s Six Nations clash with Wales and Lisa Thomson for the latest round of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens in Hong Kong this weekend.
