HRFC is iconic in Scottish, British and World Rugby. As we look to the future for volunteer run rugby clubs there is an opportunity for HRFC to embrace the new era and aim to replicate its past success in providing another 65 international players for the men’s and women’s teams.
The Club’s management committee have decided to examine the possibilities that lie ahead and want to hear from the Town about what it wants for and from HRFC. Cash from Community Windpower (a Company hoping to invest £4.05billion in the South of Scotland over the next five years) has enabled HRFC to commission a feasibility study looking at how Mansfield Park can be enhanced to not only provide fantastic facilities for Rugby but , equally, fantastic facilities for the Town.
Replies to this short survey ( or by any other means) will enable the Committee to get the most out of the feasibility study and permit a project to come together. All ideas, wishes, dreams and concerns are most welcome. Let your creativity flow and your imagination go.
